Tempo is a modern, distraction-free home phone that docks your smartphone, routes calls and texts to a tactile handset, and uses a calm E-Ink screen to keep only what matters in view.
Do I need a landline?
No. Tempo uses your smartphone’s connection (cellular or Wi-Fi calling, as you’ve set on your phone). It doesn’t add a new phone line.
Which phones are compatible?
Most modern Apple and Android phones, USB-C iPhones work out of the box. Older Lightning-port iPhones work with a certified USB-C–to–Lightning adapter.
Can two phones connect at once?
Yes—up to two phones can be connected; one can rest inside the drawer. You can set a “primary” device or let Tempo ring for whichever phone is receiving the call.
What’s included and how do I set it up?
In the box: the handset/base, USB-C cable, and quick-start guide. Plug it in, connect your phone via USB-C (or adapter), follow the on-screen pairing steps, choose priority contacts—and you’re set.
